Colvert Replacement

13th Street Culvert at 18 Mile Creek

As part of the Town of Lincoln’s maintenance and replacement program this 23.5 metre long, 5.6 metre wide x 3.6 metre high, elliptical corrugated steel pipe culvert (CSP) was replaced under 13th Street between Red Maple Drive and Honsberger Road in the Town’s east side.

Lincoln Sand and Salt Yard

This project consisted of engineering design to cut, fill and complete an asphalted area for the Town to relocate a sand and salt dome to this Town owned vacant property near the Municipal Offices in Beamsville. The project also included electrical design for yard lighting, receptacles for truck engine heaters and power supply to the relocated dome.

St. Catharines Place Residence

Heatherwood St. Catharines Place

Heatherwood was designed to complement the existing Assisted Living facility by providing independent living for active seniors in an 80-suite, 4-storey facility on the balance of a 4+ acre site in St. Catharines. This site currently contains an 87-unit, single-storey retirement residence that has been integrated into the new 4-storey expansion. The design includes a porte cochere entrance which welcomes residents and guests into a luxury living environment offering complete amenities for its residents. The program includes an accessible dining room for use by all residents, private dining room, sheltered garden, an underground parking garage, a Wellness Centre, Pub, Library, Country Kitchen and Coffee Shop, plus a fully equipped Theatre.

Ridley College Athletic Complex

Ridley College Athletic Complex

Quartek Group Inc. was asked to re-evaluate a master plan for Ridley College in order to help give form to a fund-raising plan. Our Architects developed a vision for the overall Athletic Complex. It was necessary to incorporate as much of the long-range goals as possible while proposing a realistic capital budget for the project in terms of 2007 dollars. This task was crucial in order to put forward a plan that the Board and Advancement Department could package and take to major doners and broader alumni for pledges.

Harbour Inn Townhouses

These exclusive townhouses were built overlooking the Niagara-on-the-Lake Marina at the mouth of the Niagara River and Lake Ontario. The 3-storey units were carefully designed to take full advantage of the views with expansive windows and a series of tiered balconies. Interior features include high ceilings, rough-in for a private elevator and utilization of a high velocity HVAC system.
