The Town of Oakville engaged Quartek Group to replace existing, subterranean public washrooms with a landmark building for Bronte Park. Using a material palette consistent with the Town’s current standard for public washrooms, Quartek explored the nautical theme established by the master plan for this distinctive site. The result is a utilitarian programmed building which expresses the kinetic energy of a sailboat. Quartek Group performed in this project architectural, structural, civil, mechanical and electrical design services, as well as Contract administration during construction.
