Brock Student Housing on John Macdonell Street

In 2013 Brock Plaza Corporation engaged Quartek Group to provide planning, architectural, and engineering services for the planning and engineering approvals, design, and construction of a 4 storey, 24-unit, 86-bedroom apartment building at 49 John Macdonell. The building will be owned by Brock Plaza Corporation but is operated by Brock University, with the University entering into a long-term lease agreement. The building is intended to house graduate and international students from the Brock community.

Deer Park Villa Long Term Care Facility

Deer Park Villa Long Term Care Facility in Grimsby has been qualified to rebuild their facilities to meet the “A” standard for Long Term Care Homes. The existing facility operates in conjunction with an attached Supportive Housing Facility. The new improved facility will have 40 beds replacing the 39 existing long term care beds. Two new Resident Home Areas with support facilities will be built. The residents will be relocated to the new facility at which time the old will be demolished and renovations in portions of the existing will take place.

Heatherwood St. Catharines Place

Heatherwood was designed to complement the existing Assisted Living facility by providing independent living for active seniors in an 80-suite, 4-storey facility on the balance of a 4+ acre site in St. Catharines. This site currently contains an 87-unit, single-storey retirement residence that has been integrated into the new 4-storey expansion. The design includes a porte cochere entrance which welcomes residents and guests into a luxury living environment offering complete amenities for its residents. The program includes an accessible dining room for use by all residents, private dining room, sheltered garden, an underground parking garage, a Wellness Centre, Pub, Library, Country Kitchen and Coffee Shop, plus a fully equipped Theatre.

Harbour Inn Townhouses

These exclusive townhouses were built overlooking the Niagara-on-the-Lake Marina at the mouth of the Niagara River and Lake Ontario. The 3-storey units were carefully designed to take full advantage of the views with expansive windows and a series of tiered balconies. Interior features include high ceilings, rough-in for a private elevator and utilization of a high velocity HVAC system.
