Quartek had the pleasure of designing the 3-storey infill addition at 124 Queen Street. Nestled in the heart of Niagara-on-the-Lake, the hotel provides an array of accommodation options just footsteps away from the charming boutique shops and restaurants. The exterior design is sympathetic to its environment as it borrows the very materials and architectural style of the surrounding buildings. In addition to the 35-room addition, various amenities were incorporated creating the perfect “getaway” location or luxurious conference centre. such amenities include:

• Lobby/Lounge bar and restaurant,
• Conference rooms with atrium opening to an exterior courtyard,
• Starbucks coffee house,
• Below grade parking with landscape roof
• Rooftop garden at main level and courtyard fountain.

The Spa at Q (124 on Queen Hotel & Spa) in Niagara-on-the-Lake is an ambitious luxury spa and features Canada’s first indoor snow room. With approximately 10,000 square feet of spa and hydrotherapy circuit area, our team of engineers and architects worked together to design the systems required to isolate the various spaces, each had specific and varying temperatures and humidities. The Spa is a full-service health and wellness centre Including the following services:

• Hydrotherapy Circuit, hot pool, sensory showers, dry sauna, eucalyptus steam room, snow room, warm pool,
• Massage and body treatment, manicure, pedicure and facial

Quartek Provided the Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, and Civil Engineering services from Site Plan Approval through construction. Quartek worked in a team with Merit Contractors of Niagara and Lisa Levick Interiors and Acapulco Pools in the construction phase to ensure all details were captured and completed to the owners needs.
