IGRS, a division of Walker Industries, retained Quartek Group Inc. for the expansion of its existing Landfill Gas Collection System.  The expansion consisted of doubling the size of the existing facility plus the addition of a new flare. Renovations were also required to bring the existing building to present standards. The building involved gas detection systems, a fire detection/suppression system, security systems, HVAC systems, as well as, explosion panels.

The project was completed on schedule and within budget.

Quartek provided architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and civil engineering services throughout design, tender and construction phases.
