The The Bosch facility has undergone a rebuild to improve its logistics, and some of the ground floor administrative office spaces have been renovated. This involved the demolition of an old 10,000 s.f storage warehouse standalone building and making way for a new 44 parking stall area designed with vehicle electrical charging stations. Alongside of the new parking area and the existing administrative building a new landscaped courtyard has been added, complete with electric bike charging stations. The courtyard has been designed for outdoor lunch and work break uses and for company social gathering events. The ground floor office spaces involved an 8,000 s.f renovation. The spaces have been redesigned for a more social and transparent working environment. To improve the logistics, a 6,500 s.f shipping addition has been added with four truck bays with a heated ramp and a link addition 8 meters wide x 49 meters connecting the separate production building to the warehouse building for year-round weather-protected material movement. In these new builds and office renovations, the latest energy efficiency guidelines with increased insulation performance values have been considered. Much of this rebuild replaced the HVAC system with a BAS system Building Automated System that can be remotely monitored.
