Heatherwood was designed to complement the existing Assisted Living facility by providing independent living for active seniors in an 80-suite, 4-storey facility on the balance of a 4+ acre site in St. Catharines.   This site currently contains an 87-unit, single-storey retirement residence that has been integrated into the new 4-storey expansion.  The design includes a porte cochere entrance which welcomes residents and guests into a luxury living environment offering complete amenities for its residents. The program includes an accessible dining room for use by all residents, private dining room, sheltered garden, an underground parking garage, a Wellness Centre, Pub, Library, Country Kitchen and Coffee Shop, plus a fully equipped Theatre.

This project has deployed Quartek’s full complement of design services – architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, civil, planning approvals and all stages of building design, technical drawings/specifications and construction review.   This project has undergone rigorous review and local community input.
