The goal of the Lancaster Park Baseball Change Rooms upgrades was to create both male and female change rooms for baseball teams as well as male and female washrooms for the public, all within the existing construct. By expanding into the underutilized space of the snack bar, the full modified building program program was accommodated. Both change rooms and public areas are designed to be barrier-free per the OBC and FADS compliant, Including individual BF W/C stalls, urinals, showers, and benches.
Quartek worked with the City to create a low maintenance and robust facility using materials such as composite wood for benches, stainless steel partitions and fixtures with high-build epoxy walls and stone chip floor throughout the facility allowing for spray-down of all surfaces.
