Quartek Group Inc. worked as a sub consultant for Comcor Environmental Ltd. for the construction of the Landfill Gas Collection System at the Twin Creeks Landfill operated by Waste Management Inc.

The project consisted of construction of separate control and blower buildings as well as the foundation for the new flare.  The buildings involved gas detection systems, a fire detection/suppression system, security systems, HVAC system as well as explosion panels.  The superstructure consisted of structural steel pre-eng buildings modified to incorporate explosion panels.

The project was completed on schedule and within budget.  Quartek provided architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical and civil engineering services throughout design, tender, and construction phases.
